This Act replaced the Identification of Prisoners Act, of 1920 [2] in turn expanding the scope of data that can be collected, the persons who are authorized to collect such data, as well as the persons whose data can be collected. They had faced a lot of, discrimination, domestic violence, ill-treatment, and exploitation and still, some are facing it. Not just in India, but in the whole world, women want dignity, respect, and opportunity same as men. India is a democratic country. It has one of the most lengthy and detailed constitutions.
