ARE WE EDUCATED ENOUGH ?

Here I wanted to tell you all about the recent case of human rights violation in my state, that is Maharashtra. Somedays before I saw and read a case of the Pune District Court. A notice was issued by the Pune District Court on October 20 urging female lawyers not to arrange their hair in open courtrooms. "Female lawyers have been repeatedly found in public courts having their hair styled and disrupting the functioning of courts. Women's advocates are therefore urged to refrain from such conduct," the statement said. Also, the senior advocate Indira Jaising backlash this notice and showed severe disagreement on the same. But after facing too much trolling Pune district court took it back.

Senior Advocate Indira Jaising criticized the court for issuing such an order, stating: Who is distracted by women advocates and why?” also journalist Nimisha Jaiswal, criticized the court for the announcement. "The power to prevent justice is in your hands (or hair?)," she tweeted.

Many other users have denounced the notice, calling it a misogynistic notice that insults women, but the report states that the notice was issued to maintain court courtesy and that it does not reflect someone's feelings. "The notice was issued only to protect the court's decency. It was withdrawn to avoid controversy," one civil registrar was quoted as saying.

Prior to this, in a similar case in February this year, Judge Rekha Pari was called "Sir" several times during a hearing at the Delhi High Court. I wanted to shut up the lawyer who did it. Judge Paris said, "I'm not Sir. I hope you can see it."

The lawyer later apologized, but his explanation was not accepted by netizens. He explained that he had made a mistake because of the 'chair' she was sitting in. Judge Paris then reacted angrily, saying that the reaction was not possible because the lawyer believed the chairman was only for 'sir'. She asked him what hope there would be for future generations if the younger members would not give up on their differentiation. But the problem here is what is this mentality?

One more person tweeted, “Are women's rights advocates additionally prohibited in the event that they determine to be distracted the next day through the sheer presence of women? or asked to don a ghunghat.”

Some people wondered whether or not India had back to the Middle Ages. Another person talked about how the judiciary has no enterprise dictating such laws. According to a Bar & Bench report, the signal become taken down in reaction to complaints.

It means that merely fixing hair is a distraction for men. How Rubbish! After a few days, you would have asked to shave your head too. Isn’t it a violation of the human rights of women? If such notices are being issued for female lawyers, then what should common people expect from such authorities where people seek justice?

In a such place where we are protecting others’ rights, where all are well-versed with the laws and well educated this is really shocking if such incidents happen there only. From the such case, it is clear that this is also happening and only affecting women, no one is asking men to stop any particular act like chewing tobacco in the courtroom no matter how much it is disgusting. Do you know what the problem here is they are saying that they are developing but only from the outside, but the mentality is the same as before?

Here you all must be thinking about what the meaning of they is or who comes under the definition of they it is nothing but our so-called society. Which includes each and every kind of human who is educated, uneducated, a law protector, or a woman itself. Whoever has such orthodox thoughts. These are the issues that lead us to think twice if are we educated enough.

If we are talking about maintaining courtesy or decorum in the court then there are many things or many acts of a man which has to be restrained. But this male dominant society only set boundaries and limits for women.
